Do You Know a Rising Star?
DEADLINE FOR ENTERING THE WOMEN IN BUSINESS AWARDS IS 14 JULY 2015
There is an abundance of female talent in the workplace yet there are still functions, like Sales where it is more difficult to attract and retain women and traditionally male dominated sectors such as Technology are crying out for female role models to showcase women’s contribution.
Clarify is working with the Association of Professional Sales to encourage more young women into the sales industry and is seeking female role models within the Technology Sales sector to enter the 2015 Women in Business awards.
To raise awareness and celebrate successful women in our industry, Clarify is sponsoring the Rising Star category at the Women in Business awards, which is hosted by The Business Magazine.
The Rising Star award is open to women aged 30 and under who are already making their mark in the industry; the winner is a ‘Woman to Watch’, she may be a future leader or already head up a team and is rising quickly through the ranks.
Nominations are encouraged from young women in businesses of all sizes from organisations in the south of England – defined as the Thames Valley and Solent regions. Entrants can self-nominate or be nominated by colleague, customer, supplier or other associate.
Other categories are sponsored by Barclays, Deloitte and Blake Morgan include Woman of the year 2015 (SME/large company) and Enlightened Employer all of which are seeking nominations and offer an opportunity to highlight successes within the technology industry.
The Women in Business Awards, now in their third year, celebrate successful women who have excelled in their specific business, profession, organisation or line of work, women who, through leadership, entrepreneurialism, mentoring skills, and/or ideas stand out from their colleagues.
